Abstract expressionism or “action painting” is what interests me. I must have had a very colorless childhood, as vibrant colors now seep from every pore and appear as texture and layering in my paintings. My work is about color, texture, space and form. Space – being able to breathe – in my art is utmost, along with unusual color combinations. I focus not on the technical but on the lyrical quality of the process and my sense of movement, direction and flow. Each painting transmits energy, joy and life.
As a psychotherapist and traveler on this life’s journey, I am in constant search for meaning. Art brings that meaning, resonates in my soul, feeds it and gives me peace.
